“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
That is the significance of enemies in our life and the role they play in attaining our success and failure. Therefore, we must know our enemies in our path of pursuit. The sooner we know the better we prepare ourselves to deal with them.
When we start thinking about enemies, we start considering our external enemies, where as according to Law of Attraction philosophy, the internal enemies are more dangerous than the external ones. Here I would like to quote Buddha to give a deeper perspective.
“It is a Man’s own Mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.” – Buddha
Yes, it is our internal thoughts and feelings that take us into the path that not meant for us. And one such intention or perception that drive us crazy is ‘PERFECTION’.
Perfection is the No # 1 Enemy of Manifestation
Yes, your strive towards perfection makes you desperate, insecure and it reminds you consciously and unconsciously that you are far away from your goal. And these thoughts only create internal disturbances and pose hurdles on the way to your progress.
So be aware of your enemy
It is fine not to be perfect. However taking initiation and be progress oriented are more important than being perfect. If you wait till the perfect moment or till the time we acquire a skill to be perfect then you are delaying your progress and ultimately achievement. Because, when you focus on perfection, you get into minute details of small small things and most of you miss the big picture due to lack of focus. You also fail to set intention of achieving some important milestone in life.
When you start moving then only you will reach somewhere. When you start working on something then only you will be able to finish.
So take a leap of faith, believe in yourself and take the path you want to follow. Go for the adventure and do not wait for the perfect moment or resources to come. On your journey, you will get the way, the tools and the resources that you need to reach your destination. Trust me you will enjoy your journey, though it might be bumpy.
